Just got an old iPod Classic |
||
As you may or may not know, my beloved iPhone 4 got water damaged in a lake a few months back. I've decided I can't live without the music, so I bought a 5th gen iPod Classic--heres a bit of a review.
So...for those of you who don't know what an iPod Classic is, its basically the original iPod. Its built for people who have way too much music, and the latest generation holds 160GB--if each song averages at about a megabyte, then thats 160,000 songs. They are able to do this because they put laptop hard drives in these things--and they basically do nothing but play music, videos, and a few random games. I've almost mastered level 2 of BrickBreaker. Anyway, as I'm going on a road trip vacation this summer, I looked around and found an ancient 30gb iClassic for $50 on Craigslist, a steal, and bought it. I like it, and my favorite part is the way you scroll through your music, using the same technology as a laptop trackpad but somehow seeming much more fun and easy way of using it.
So, I still miss my old iPhone and I'll probably buy another one once OtterBox comes out with the waterproof case, but for now, this will have to do.
